WHITE FUSED ALUMINA
White Fused Alumina (WA), also known as White Aluminium Oxide, is produced by electrically fusing high-grade Bayer processed alumina in a furnace. It boasts high purity, self-sharpening properties, better cutting performance, and lower heat generation, resulting in higher efficiency. Additionally, it offers excellent resistance to both acids and alkalis, along with good thermal stability. Abrasive tools made from White Fused Alumina are ideal for grinding high-speed and high-carbon steels. It is also used in applications such as grinding and polishing, precision casting, spraying and coating, chemical industry mediums, special ceramics, and high-grade refractory materials.
